Your day begins with a visit to the legendary Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the largest and deepest subterranean cities in the world. This marvel of ancient engineering reaches a depth of 60 meters and consists of eight floors filled with ventilation shafts, communal spaces, kitchens, churches, stables, and more. Originally built by early Christians to escape persecution, the city once sheltered thousands of people underground.
Walking through its labyrinthine tunnels, you’ll gain insight into how entire communities lived, survived, and worshipped below the surface.
🏞️ Ihlara Valley – A Canyon Full of Secrets
After lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues to Ihlara Valley, a 16-kilometer gorge carved by the Melendiz River. As you hike along the scenic canyon, you’ll spot cave churches with frescoes, rock-cut homes, and natural beauty in every direction. It’s one of Cappadocia’s hidden gems and ideal for nature lovers.
🏰 Selime Monastery – Rock-Cut Grandeur
The final stop is the majestic Selime Monastery, the largest religious structure in Cappadocia carved into the rocks. Itinerary
Goreme Panorama
Our first stop will be at the Göreme Panoramic Point, where we have magnificent views over Göreme Valley
Kaymakli Underground City, Derinkuyu Turkiye
We will head to the ancient Underground City occupied by many different civilizations throughout its 4000 year history.
We will learn about how and why the city was built here and how they managed to live underground.
Selime Monastery, Guzelyurt Turkiye
We will visit Selime rock-art Monastery, which is the biggest rock-cut structure in all of Cappadocia.
The monastery was the center of religious, social and commercial life.
Ihlara Valley, Guzelyurt Turkiye
We will take will take a pleasant 3 km hike through Ihlara Valley, a natural green canyon as deep as 100 meters at some points.
There you will see cave churches with some unusual frescoes and enjoy lunch by the river.
Pigeon Valley, Uchisar
Our last stop has a beautiful view of Uçhisar Castle across the gardens of Guvercinlik Vadisi (Pigeon Valley).
This is great location for scenic photoş and an easy hike down to Göreme if you would like to finish your day with a walk.

- Day Tours (1 day or less): You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- Package Tours: Refunds are given for cancellations made 4 days in advance.
